We are slowly getting back to a normal routine since football ended last Saturday. Football was for sure consuming, challenging, exhilerating and full of learnings. Luke went from disliking the whole thing to playing every game and making the best of it. Not his favorite sport, he remained committed and kept getting better. We are so proud of him!
Best of all, his 5-6-7 yr old team that only played 7 yr old teams actually won its last game. I cried! We celebrated the end of the season with an overnight at Great Wolf Lodge that has an indoor waterpark. Our little cub sure had fun there.
Then it was Halloween. We live on a short street, so we go to our friends' house who live on a street where they really spook it up. Mitchell dressed up like a pirate and Luke was a "Ice Wolf Ninja". What exactly is an "Ice Wolf Ninja"? We don't know but he loved the way it looked at the costume store. It's his favorite costume so far.
Our friends' boys had great costumes - one a happy Darth Maul, one a rocker zombie and one the cutest Scooby Doo ever.
